How to embroider blush on amigurumi

so i’m going to put blush on these peas cheeks using this pink yarn now i want to put the blush a little bit under and to the outside of each eye not directly under each eye before i begin we want to just make sure that we’ve oriented the p the right way because the eyes are actually not exactly in the middle of the p the eyes are between rounds four and five so that means that the eyes are a little bit higher on the p closer to the top of its head so you can check that really quick by looking at the very top of your p and counting the number of rounds that it takes to get to the eyes so here’s round one two three four so this is the right side up so i’m going to start by making the left blush and then i’m going to make the right blush and then i’m getting a tie knot and then secure the yarn so i’m going to rotate my p so it’s easier for me to stick the needle in and i’m going to pick the spot on the p that i want to represent the left most part of the left blush and i’m just going to split i’m like literally putting my needle where i want it to be it’s totally fine to split the yarn it’s actually probably better that way since that means that your yarn will be more secure so i put it in the left most spot that i want the blush to be and then i took it out of where i want that left blush to end and then i pulled the yarn through but left about a six inch yarn tail so that i can use that to weave in and secure the yarn at the end now i’m going to put my needle back in exactly the same spot and then out where i want it to be the right most part of the blush and i’m actually going to push myself here i’m going to put my needle in between this stitch instead of in the gap between the stitches because i think it’s going to come out looking more full that way so when i pull this i don’t want to pull super tight because then that’s just going to squeeze this green stitch behind it really tight and make this blush really small you want to preserve that width now i’m gonna put the needle where i want it to define the other edge of the right blush and then poke it out exactly where i started everything oops i pulled that one a little bit aggressively so this is what’s gonna happen if you pull it too tight this yarn becomes really teeny tiny so i’m gonna fix that by pulling on it a little bit with a needle and voila now you can see it again the last step is to tie a knot with both yarn tails and then cut the longer one to be about the same length as the shorter one the red both yarn tails through the needle and then put your needle in exactly the spot that the yarn tails came out of and then out across the other side of the omega roomy you want to pull tight but again not too tight so see when i did that it accidentally pulled really tight on this blush so i’m going to do what i did for that other stitch and then put my needle under that blush and pull it out a little so it comes back out and for good measure to help make the yarn even more secure you can put your needle back in where it just came out of again and then out some other point and just tug on it just enough so that the yarn disappears from that of the point that it started in and then cut your yarn as close to your pee as possible and here the yarn is still a little visible so i’m just going to massage my p until it disappears
