Joe the Coffee Mug: 0. Coffee: 1.
day one of trying to crochet a functional coffee cup as you know I dabble in wobly science experiments from time to time but after reading your comments I’m giving perer of the week off Joe the coffee mug was my first volunteer to step in though and I decided to do him the honor of fulfilling his life purpose by actually filling him with coffee my goal for him is to hold one cup of coffee but I tried adding little bits at a time to be safe and that that just did not go well with a change of plans though I kept going until I saw this happen then I knew we were in water what do you think I should do to him so he can actually hold my coffee
@Liv444.
Either add a plastic thingy inside or make him be able to fit cups and mugs inside like a beer holder but for coffee..ik there is an actual name for that I just forgot andddd I know that it’s not just for beer

Add like a layer of plastic wrap like take out the browns put plastic wrap and then put the coffee and maybe tape the plastic wrap to him so password doesn’t fall and you could actually drink coffee out of him

Crochet around an actual coffee cup!
@cynthiakeck7523
Crochet the body of the mug then make a batch of silicone and line the inside of the body with it. Once it's cured you could crochet the top brown piece and fasten it using a zipper instead of stitching it on, that way you can open it and drink out of it.
@Heyyall400
Make it a covor for a REAL cup of coffee!
@Chocobo0Scribe
Make him a coffee mug cozy?
@Druforithe

@izzyscattoys5454
I think u
You should crochet the mug thicker so it’s more sturdy and add a plastic or metal on the inside to hold the liquid
